Bodywork Basics
James Bailey is a Shamanic Bodywork Practitioner, Massage therapist, Movement Specialist and Artist. Ousman Sey is a Thai Yoga Massage Therapist, Yoga Instructor, Meditation Teacher and Lifestyle Coach.
Through a shared vision of using the body as a vehicle to explore the deeper aspects of our Being, we have collaborated our areas of expertise together to develop a unique and creative platform in which individuals can begin to explore themselves a the medium of bodywork and movement.
“Your body is the vehicle through which you experience the world.” - James Bailey
Bodywork Basics incorporates elements of Yoga, Massage, Martial Arts, Dance and Play into a seamless journey of physicality.
We have designed the workshop in such a way as to explore the different dynamics and qualities of movement that can be experienced both individually and collectively.
By working with masssge we can gain insight into the nature of touch and sensitivity and develop a deeper understanding into the process of healing.
Playfulness invites us to revisit our child-like nature and become truly creative, strengthening the imagination and reawakening the Spirit.
“There is no right or wrong. There are only tools to explore the Self.” - Ousman Sey
Through the expression of our physicality we can develop our awareness and broaden the understanding we have of ourselves. By interacting with our emotions and challenging our limitations we embark on the journey of self-discovery and take the necessary steps towards embracing our true nature.
We invite you and your friends to join us on this journey of exploration into the self.
Sunday 3rd June & Sunday 29th July 13:00-18:00
Each workshop is intended to function as a stand alone seminar on the basics of bodywork. The content will vary slightly each time so people who come more than once can have a little variety. You do not have to attend all of them to understand the basics. Of course if you like what we’re doing and want to have an experience with more depth, you’re welcome to come to all of them.
We´re embracing the warmer weather and hoping the sun shines brightly on these Sundays, and we can share space in the park.
Please bring a yoga mat and a blanket or towel, water and snacks to keep hydrated and energised.
We would like everyone who wants to participate to be able to. Therefore we are running these on a donation basis. If you can’t afford what we suggest but want to join, that’s totally cool.
Suggested donation:
Working people 50chf
Students/dancers/artists/otherwise poor people 30chf
